VeeaHub Meshes can be configured to perform automatic backups on selected days of the week. These backups are stored in VeeaCloud. A maximum of three backups can be retained at a time.
Note: If no backup key exists for the mesh, you’ll be prompted to create one before any backup schedule or action can be completed.
Enabling Automatic Backups
- Go to the Automatic Backups section of the mesh configuration screen.
- Toggle the switch to Enable Automatic Backups.
- Select the Backup Days by clicking the corresponding weekday boxes (Sunday through Saturday).
- Set the Backup Time using the time dropdowns.
- Click the Apply button to save the schedule.
Important: A group backup key must be created before automatic backups can be scheduled.
Creating a Group Backup Key
- Navigate to the Group Settings section.
- Under Backup Key, click Create.
- Once the key is created, you may return to the Automatic Backups screen to apply your schedule.
Manual Backup Management
You can also manually create and restore backups via the Backup & Restore popup.
