Switching Sites
If you manage multiple sites/locations, In the upper right corner, tap on “Switch Site” to choose the Site you would like to manage.
Home
You’ll now see the home screen for managing that Site.
Wi-Fi Settings
Here, you can view the 3 built-in security profiles and update their names and passwords.
Manage VeeaHubs
You will see a list view of your SecureConnect Hubs. After tapping on a Hub, you can: add a new Hub, restart your Hub, view Hub information, and remove the Hub.
Adding a new VeeaHub
Selecting “Add New VeeaHub” brings you to our enrollment process that guides you through enrolling and setting up a new Hub at a Site.
SecureConnect
This is your view of devices connected to your networks and it also provides the ability to authorize, deauthorize or block those devices.
Adding a new endpoint device can be done 2 ways:
- Join the desired WiFi network
- Connect an Ethernet cable from the endpoint device to the VeeaHub's Ethernet port. Note: Any endpoint connected via Ethernet will be assigned to the Common Profile
When a new endpoint is detected, a notification will be sent to the Site Administrator's mobile app. The mobile app is required to authorize the endpoint.
Authorization Required
You will receive a push notification on your mobile device when a device attempts to connect
to your Common or Secure profiles. Tapping on that notification brings you to the main menu.
Authorizing / Blocking Devices
Tapping on the device in the image above brings you to a screen where you can choose to either authorize or block the device from being on your network.
Authorized Status
Once authorized, the device will show in a list of authorized devices. There are similar tabs for viewing offline and blocked devices.
Deauthorizing and Blocking Devices
For devices already connected, you can tap on the device (shown in the image above),
and you can then either deauthorize it which removes them from the network and allows
them to request access again or block the device so that it can no longer request access.
