Once you've unboxed your VeeaHub, you are ready to enroll it into your account.
In a nutshell:
- Unbox your VeeaHubs so you can scan the enrollment QR code on the bottom of units.
- Download, install and log into VeeaHub Manager
- Enroll your VeeaHubs into your account.
- If you haven't done so, plug your VeeaHubs into power and Internet.
Enrolling your VeeaHubs
Step 1: Download VeeaHub Manager
In order to enroll your devices, you'll need to download VeeaHub Manager to your mobile device.
VeeaHub Manager requires iOS 14.0 or later or Android 5.0 and up.
Step 2: Log into VeeaHub Manager
| If you haven't done so, log into VeeaHub Manager using your Veea Account. |
Step 3: Plan your meshes
|
VeeaHubs work in meshes - even if you have only one VeeaHub, it needs to be added to a mesh in order to function. A mesh can contain up to 32 VeeaHubs and you can mix VeeaHub models in the same mesh. VeeaHubs in the same mesh can be connected via wired (Ethernet) or wireless (Wi-Fi) to each other. Depending on your needs, you should choose which option fits your installation best. The first VeeaHub you add to a mesh becomes the Gateway Hub and is responsible for providing WAN connection to the rest of the VeeaHubs on the mesh. |
Step 4: Enroll your VeeaHubs
|
Step 5: Install your VeeaHubs
|
If you haven't done so, install your VeeaHubs to their final location and plug in the WAN, LAN and Power cables. Make sure your VeeaHubs are powered on and can access the Internet. For information about installation and mounting, please see the setup guide of your VeeaHub. You can find the setup guides under the Installing & Mounting section. |
Step 6: Start & Monitor Enrollment
|
Once you confirm the enrollment settings, the process begins.
