Introduction
Once your VeeaHub Mesh is deployed, ongoing visibility into system health is essential for performance, reliability, and support. The Control Center provides a central interface for monitoring the status of your VeeaHubs, including connectivity, updates, analytics, and service activity.
This article outlines where to find key health indicators and how to interpret them.
Accessing your mesh
To monitor your mesh:
- Log in to Control Center.
- In the left-hand sidebar, click Meshes.
- Select the mesh you wish to monitor.
You will be taken to a high-level summary of the mesh’s current health and configuration.
Mesh Health
At the top of the page, you’ll see the overall mesh health indicator:
| Color | Text | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Healthy | The mesh is functioning as intended | |
| Updating | One or more VeeaHubs are installing software | |
| Errored | One or more VeeaHubs are reporting errors | |
| Offline | Gateway Hub (and as a result, the mesh) is offline | |
| Needs Restart | One or more VeeaHubs needs to be restarted to finish installing new software updates. |
*Note that a Mesh or VeeaHub can display an "Errored" state if Cellular is enabled but there is no current cellular connection.
WAN Connectivity
You can view the mesh’s current WAN (Internet) connection method under WAN Connectivity, which will show whether the mesh is using:
- Ethernet
- Cellular (if enabled)
- Offline
Software Updates
A yellow banner will appear when software updates are available for your mesh. Click View Updates to review and install the latest releases.
VeeaHubs on This Mesh
On this page, you’ll also see a table listing each VeeaHub in your mesh, with:
- Name – The device label (clickable for more info)
- Role – Gateway or Mesh Node
- Model – Hardware model identifier (e.g., VHC25)
- Status – Health status (Healthy, Offline, Restart Required)
- Actions – Shortcut to manage Services running on that hub
Clicking Services under the Actions column lets you monitor and control services specific to that VeeaHub.
Next Steps
Once enrollment of a VeeaHub is done, it and it's mesh will appear as Healthy, allowing you to start configuring hardware and services. Click below to learn how to install services on a mesh.
