Developing services for the VeeaHub ecosystem is a powerful way to extend the functionality of the Veea platform and bring your own applications, services, and logic directly to the edge. Whether you're building smart retail apps, IoT data processors, localized analytics engines, or any custom workload, the VeeaONE Platform makes development efficient, scalable, and flexible.
Getting Started
To begin developing for VeeaHubs, you’ll need to create a free developer account by signing up at the official Veea Developer Program:
🔗 Sign up for a Veea Developer Account
Once your account is created and approved, you’ll gain access to the Veea Developer Portal, your go-to hub for all tools, documentation, and service publishing:
🔗 Visit the Veea Developer Portal
The Veea Developer Toolkit
As a developer, you’ll receive access to the VeeaHub Toolkit, which provides the runtime environment and SDKs required to build, package, and test your applications for deployment on VeeaHubs. This toolkit supports container-based development and includes support for key languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, Node.js, Go, Bash, and more).
- Tools for local development and testing
- Container packaging utilities (Docker-based)
- CLI tools to test and simulate edge conditions
- Access to documentation and example services
Control Center with Developer Access
With your developer credentials, you’ll also gain access to a special version of the Veea Control Center, which includes tools for managing VeeaHub hardware, testing services, and monitoring live deployments.
Developer access includes:
- Uploading and installing test builds directly to your hubs
- Service lifecycle controls: start, stop, uninstall
- Real-time logs, metrics, and diagnostics
- Network and connectivity simulation tools
Build Once, Deploy Anywhere
The VeeaONE Platform is designed to make service deployment simple and reliable. Whether your service runs on a VHH10 rugged outdoor hub in a smart city application or a VHE10 indoor hub in a retail store, the same service package can adapt to different hardware profiles thanks to a unified edge architecture and containerized delivery model.
With built-in mesh networking, edge orchestration, and cloud-assisted updates, your services can run closer to users and devices, improving latency, reliability, and control.
