The VeeaHub STAX with 5G (model VHC25-5G) is equipped with an integrated OLED status display designed to provide clear, real-time insights into the operational state of the device. This intuitive display enables users to quickly verify the current status of the unit, including its overall system health and connectivity information.
One of the key features of the OLED display is its ability to show detailed cellular connection status, allowing users to confirm whether the device is properly connected to a 5G network and view signal strength and activity at a glance. Additionally, the display presents up-to-date Wi-Fi statistics, including active connections and traffic levels, helping users better understand and manage their local wireless environment.
Beyond monitoring, the OLED interface also provides convenient options for system management. Users can initiate a reboot directly from the display, or place the device into recovery mode if necessary—eliminating the need for additional tools or direct physical access to internal components.

System Operation
Upon powering on the VeeaHub STAX with 5G, the OLED display will show a Logo screen for 5 seconds. After this, the display cycles through a set of status screens that include:
- Cellular
- Wi-Fi
- System
- Ethernet
Each of these screens is shown for 5 seconds and transitions smoothly with a fade effect. While each screen is displayed, its data is refreshed every 2 seconds. This ensures that the displayed information is accurate and current.
After completing one full cycle, the screen rotation repeats indefinitely—excluding the Logo screen, which only appears once at startup. If the physical push button next to the display is pressed, the display will immediately skip to the next screen in the sequence.
To help prevent OLED burn-in, the display will automatically enter Sleep Mode after 60 seconds of inactivity, resulting in a blank screen. The display will wake up under either of the following conditions:
Push button press – The display wakes up, starts with the Logo screen, and resumes cycling through the status screens. Alert-triggering data change – If a significant update occurs (such as a SIM being inserted or cellular service being lost), the display wakes up immediately and shows the relevant screen with the updated alert information.
Recovery Mode Operation
When the VeeaHub enters Recovery Mode, the OLED display behavior changes slightly:
- A Recovery Logo screen appears first for 5 seconds.
- This is followed by a cycle of status screens (starting with System) that are each shown for 5 seconds with fading transitions.
As with normal operation, each screen refreshes its data every 2 seconds. After one full cycle, the Recovery Logo screen is skipped in subsequent rotations.
The display will also enter Sleep Mode after 60 seconds. It can be reawakened by:
Push button press – This brings up the Recovery Logo screen and resumes the display cycle. Alert-triggering data change – Any critical system update classified as an alert will wake the screen and show the relevant data.
This OLED display behavior ensures up-to-date information is always accessible while protecting the screen from damage due to prolonged static display.
